SUMMARY:WEBINAR: How can the impacts of AI on women and men working conditions be anticipated?
DESCRIPTION:Please share this \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWebinar\nThis is a webinar and it will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. This webinar is part of the EUWIN and Bridges 5.0 programme of events. \n\n\n\nPlease note: starting time is 11 am CET and 10 am UK. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiscussions on workplace equality often focus on equal access to technology or algorithmic bias\, yet far less attention is paid to the work itself\, its requirements\, and the impact on the men and women performing the roles. How can projects be managed with due regard for their impact on working conditions and the health of both men and women? \n\n\n\n\n\nThis webinar will provide an opportunity to examine hypotheses regarding AI’s impact on the work of men and women\, and to hear firsthand accounts from AI project leaders about how they have integrated equality considerations. Finally\, the session will identify potential levers for action within the company. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKarine BabuleANACT \n\n\n\n\n\nKarine Babule has dedicated nearly 20 years to improving working conditions for both women and men. At Anact\, she focuses specifically on hybrid work models\, remote work\, and organizational transformation. Drawing on an academic background in management\, humanities and social sciences\, she combines her expertise with project management skills to promote more inclusive and sustainable work practices. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook your place using the form below \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf no form is visible please click here for direct link. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEUWIN (the European Workplace Innovation Network) is a community of researchers and practitioners from business\, public policy\, research and social partner organisations. SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Preparing for the Future of Work in 2040 and 2100
DESCRIPTION:Please share this \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWebinar\nThis is a webinar and it will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. This webinar is part of the EUWIN and Bridges 5.0 programme of events. \n\n\n\nPlease note: starting time is 11 am CET and 10 am UK. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this interactive webinar\, you are invited to explore the results of two projects examining the future of work across different time horizons. The session will present key findings from a European strategic foresight process that identified ten high-impact trends likely to shape the way we work over the next 10 to 15 years. \n\n\n\n\n\nDrawing on desk research\, expert interviews\, a survey of 187 experts across 29 countries\, and a multi-stakeholder workshop\, the project highlights themes such as AI governance\, automation\, digital skills\, demographic change\, flexibility\, and evolving employment models. The results of the project laid the foundation for future funding calls of the European Commission in these areas. These insights will be complemented by the project results of “Future Work” \, a second project focused on the future of work in 2100. Together\, the two projects connect current shifts with longer-term perspectives and make this interactive webinar especially relevant for practitioners seeking a strategic reflections with their peers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSimon WinterDLR-PT \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Claudio ZettelDLR \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Simon Winter\n\n\n\nSimon Winter works as Strategic Foresight Expert in the European and International Cooperation Department at the DLR Project Management Agency. SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Reinventing learning in the AI-enabled workplace
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRecent technological developments like the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) have increasingly permeated every single operational layer within the workplace and have reshaped our understanding of the broader concepts of employment and productivity. Human Resource Management (HRM) plays an important role in achieving successful human-centric digital transformation through innovative work design and the facilitation of professional learning. \n\n\n\n\n\nWorkplace learning\, characterised by the interweaving of learning and working activities\, has gained attention in response to rapid technological advancements. Unlike other forms of work-related learning\, workplace learning takes place directly within the context of an employee’s role and organisational environment\, making it immediately practical. It occurs through engagement with daily work tasks and interactions\, thereby integrating learning into the flow of work transforming workplace learning into a flexible and continuous process\, allowing employees to develop skills and knowledge in real time as they encounter new challenges and opportunities. Identifying the factors that foster or hinder workplace learning in general and mutual human-AI learning in particular will enable organisations to develop informed strategies to enhance employee learning for the AI-enabled workplace. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJan LaurijssenHR Evangelist – Researcher – ConsultantSD Worx \n\n\n\n\n\nJan is the SD Worx HR Evangelist and a researcher at the University of Antwerp. He consults clients on “the future of work and HR”\, occasionally teaches and is a well-known speaker on the topic. He co-ordinates the research on “Next Generation Work” conducted by Prof Dr. Ans De Vos in the partnership with Antwerp management School. He’s pursuing a PhD on “the costs and benefits of contingent work”. He’s searching for answers to the question: “why do companies compose their workforce as they do?” Jan is a also fellow of Reshaping Work and a researcher with the EU-funded SEISMEC project. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBook your place using the form below \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf no form is visible please click here for direct link. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEUWIN (the European Workplace Innovation Network) is a community of researchers and practitioners from business\, public policy\, research and social partner organisations.
